Game of Thrones Trailers Galore!!...Well just the three...

So as I sit here waiting for the next episode of TellTale Games Game of Thrones series to be released lets all enjoy the new trailer for Season 5. Every time one Season ends the next seems so far away yet a year flies by once again and the release of the previous Season's Blu Ray approaches, quickly followed by the new Season and now we have a trailer to get us even more psyched for the coming series!

Are you excited for Season 5? I am, but playing the TellTale game would sure help with my Game of Thrones withdrawal symptoms, the trailer for the episode released today on PS3 and PS4 in North America can be seen below the Season 5 trailer. Enjoy!

Telltale Games: Game of Thrones Episode 1 Premiering Soon

That's right, today Telltale released the below image, confirming that the new Game of Thrones title will be a 6 episode series and will premier soon, I can not wait for this!!

Release date announced for Last of Us DLC

What are you plans for Valentines Day, because Naughty Dog Studios have there own plans for you, the new DLC for Last Of Us. 14/02/2014 will see the release of this long anticipated DLC expansion to the game The DLC is name "Left Behind" and is a sort of prequel to the events of the original game focusing on Ellie and her friend Riley.

Wolf Among Us Episode 2 release date teased

Telltale Games has finally teased the release of Episode 2 for the Wolf Among Us. It has been a long time since the first episode was released, but we have had Walking Dead in between this, could this have anything to do with the titles recently announced and the studio having to much to work on? Whether or not the delay should not be to much longer and we should see Episode 2 released in the first two weeks of February!

Alien Isolation announced by SEGA

Alien Isolation was announced during the week from SEGA being produced by Creative Assembly. This looks to be the Alien game fans of the franchises have been after, especially after the epic fale of Colonial Marines. From the trailer it certainly looks to go back to the roots of the original film and also pays homage to the original story and characters of the film with the star character controlled by the player being Ripley's daughter, Amanda. This looks like a good game but with my track record I certainly won't be looking to buy this, these sort of horror/thriller games don't really interest me, basically I'm a woose. Its the story that got me through The Last of Us.

What I'm looking forward to in 2014!

So what will I be looking forward to this year. Well for an easier post I've split it up into the films, comics and video games I am most looking forward to this year! It looks like another big year for all three.

So what are the films I am most looking forward to this year. Well there is the usual comic inspired films like Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain America: Winter Soldier and Amazing Spider-Man 2. You also have the like of X-Men Days of Future Past which I look forward to seeing how this will work out. My top watch this year though is Guardians of the Galaxy. My surprise pick for the coming year which from the trailers so far I can not wait for and is only a couple of months away which is the The Lego Movie.

Comic wise there is a lot going on this year already, with Marvel's future event being announced this coming Wednesday and DC's next big event to be teased in there Free Comic Book Day 2014 special. As always Free Comic Book Day is one of the highlights of the year as well as DC Marvel certainly have some important teases to make in there issue with a Guardians of the Galaxy highlight and also Spider-Man's up and coming event, the return of Peter Parker? I guess we will know more come the April solicits. Another Marvel title I am looking forward to is the new Moon Knight coming in March from Warren Ellis and Declan Shalvey.

                                       

Video Game wise it will be a big year, with a lot of new Next Gen titles to be released and also more to be announced. I'm holding my breathe for the announcement of Fallout 4, to hear more news on the next gen Mass Effect and finally more on the Game of Thrones title to come from Telltale Games. Also next year should be the year I buy my PS4 along with the coming release of Destiny in September! Will I be tempted into buying Xbox One I'm not sure, I also can't wait to get myself a PS Vita especially if I will be grabbing a PS4. With all these prospective new consoles a new television may be in order and also a new Television cabinet. 2014 has the ability to be an exciting year on all fronts!

Destiny will arrive 09.09.2014!

Destiny will  be coming to consoles next year on the 9th September. Well this is the only reason I want to purchase a next Gen console at the mo. Including a couple of other games which are still only in the early stages of development. But its nice to finally have a date and know by what time I need to have my PS4! It certainly has been a weekend for exciting video game news.

VGX: Telltale take on Game of Thrones in 2014!

As if after Walking Dead and Wolf Among Us, Telltale Games could not strive for more awesome! Well they have last night it was revealed they will be working with HBO for a new episodic Game of Thrones title in 2014! Now if this doesn't have excited I don't know what will! Star Wars Episode VIII-Bit: Tiny Death Star

So I heard about this game way back in October and have been checking the App-Store everyday since and finally when I awoke on Thursday morning it was available for download, since then it has kept me busy on my train journey to and from work as I build my Tiny Death Star and enjoy this brilliant Star Wars twist on Nimblebits original game Tiny Tower. If you have picked this up yet, whether your a Star Wars fan or not, this game is great fun and I recommend you should, and of course its FREE! Not counting those pesky in-app purchases. Eurogamer Expo 2013 My Thoughts, The Winners, The Losers...

Eurogamer Expo 2013, I had the privilege of visiting this both yesterday and today, a fast track pass to play the PS4 yesterday and ran to the Nintendo booth this morning.

Winners: Handheld Consoles, Pokemon X & Y, Tearaway, Destiny, Beyond Two Souls

Losers: Not once did I want to try, join, or see the XBOX One, sorry Microsoft the 360 served me so well but these times they are changing.

I will get a more detailed write up hopefully Sunday, but I have another convention tomorrow, and very little time to update here, but all going well I will have a chance before next week.

Dragon Age Inquisition: A World Unveiled

This trailer really has left me super excited for this game. Fall 2014 seems so far away. But after watching this and knowing that the next game in the Mass Effect Franchise is being developed on the same engine I have very high hopes for two of my favourite titles going into next Gen. E3 2013: Pokemon X & Y New details revealed!

Pokemon X & Y introduced a new type of pokemon Fairy type, who will be super effective against Dragons. This answers the type of eevee's next evolution, possibly with a moon stone? Still to find that out. There was a great trailer released, highlighting the new combat, the graphics look great! I really like the idea of being able to interact with your Pokemon. Also finally we know the world wide release date which is 12/10/2013, I'll be needing to grab myself a 3DS by then or on the day as without a doubt I will be getting this game. Time for me to start building up my team from previous games to transfer across! I really hope that in this region you can catch the original starters heres to hoping!

E3 2013: Destiny Gameplay Demo

During the press conference for PS4 at E3 2013 there was a fantastic gameplay demo for Destiny by the award winning studio that brought us Halo Bungie! This game just looks incredible and I will be grabbing a copy on its release and urging my friends to do the same so we can delve straight into this fantastic universe! E3 2013: Star Wars Battlefront!

One of the most exciting pieces of news to come out of E3 2013 is that EA/ DICE studio have confirmed that they are working Star Wars Battlefront! This came with just a short reveal trailer, but within those 30 seconds the greatness and excitement for this upcoming Star Wars Battlefront game was evident, especially as it is being developed by the studio that brought us Battlefield! Playstation 4 at E3 2013

So as far as I am concerned Sony and Playstation 4 are by far taking complete control of this next gen game console "war". With their conference poking fun at the many pitfalls of Microsoft's XBOX One, PS4 is coming out trumps on all fronts. Especially with price, Sony announced, and to my surprise that the console will be released at £349, £80 cheaper than the XBOX One. I am already saving up the pennies to get mine come release. Games are sharable on the PS4 and you are not required to have a constant connection to the internet! Playstation have really impressed me with their announcements and Press Conferences and I can not wait for its release come this Fall.

Microsoft Future of XBOX 21-05-2013

So this Monday marked the beginning of E3 2013 and finally more details on the upcoming next gen consoles. Well there isn't really much positive to announce regarding the XBOX One as far as I am concerned. There is the odd exclusive game that looks impressive. But I suppose for those who are still interested in the XBOX One you can grab it this November for the price of £429. I may have more to come on news for this console, if it doesn't pain me to much to write it.
