It was an unfortunate week for the other covers out there as this weeks cover of the week had been decided some time back when the first image of Paolo Rivera's variant for Guardians of the Galaxy #2 was teased by Marvel. Just from looking at this cover I would love to see a Rivera drawn issue. This is just superb, the mirrored reflection of the team gazing out the window of their ship staring into the distant stars of the galaxy. The subtle colour changes in the reflections, the fading and change of opacity makes this cover beautiful. This cover made me break my no more variant policy as I just had to have a copy.
